How fees work
What you pay depends on your plan, how long your visits are and what we do in them. These answers are in plain words, and the front desk goes through yours before your first test.
Insurance we work with
We bill many kinds of plans and tell you whether we are in network with yours before you book. The list is by type of plan, not by company, and the front desk checks your plan card.
Most PPO plans
Medicare
Medicaid
Workers' compensation
If you pay yourself
If you do not use insurance, you pay for each visit on the day, and we tell you the fee before you book. We keep a few reduced-fee places for people who could not otherwise come, so ask the front desk.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, we give you a written estimate before your first test: what we expect each visit to cost and what it includes. This is your right under federal law. If a bill comes to $400 or more above your estimate, you can dispute it.
Checking your benefits
Our front desk checks your benefits and calls you with what they find, before your first test. Your plan decides what it pays, and your copay, deductible and coinsurance are set by your plan. The form on this site asks only for your name, phone and email.
What the first test includes
About an hour and a quarter with one physical therapist. They listen, test your eyes, head positions and balance, explain what they find and agree on a plan with you, including the risks and the choices. We do not decide your whole plan on day one.
Questions about paying
Does my plan cover this, and do you take Medicare?
We bill many kinds of plans, including Medicare. Your plan decides what it pays. We check your benefits and call you before your first test.
What if I pay myself?
We give you a written estimate before your first test, and you pay for each visit on the day. If your plan may reimburse you, ask us for a detailed receipt to send in. Your plan decides whether it pays.
What if I was hurt at work or in a crash?
Get emergency care first. Then tell us who your adjuster is. Your state decides who may direct your care, and we explain how your bills are handled before you start.
